Pocket Hug Felt Workshop
Make a mini heart felt heart to brighten someone’s day! Participants will work with precut wool felt, wool felt appliques, ribbons and buttons and bows to make a unique expression of your love and care. Pocket hugs are big in feelings but small enough to fit in your hand, a place setting, a lunch box, a desk drawer, etc.
Ages 14 and up. No experience required.
We will be using simple hand sewing techniques, including preparing and using your needles, and simple
hand stitches.

| Instructor Bio: | West Roxbury crafter Megan Secatore captures nature’s designs in original decorations crafted in felt. Favorite motifs include roses, nasturtiums, lilies, cherry blossoms and poppies, adorning pincushions and ornaments. In all her craft projects, she adheres to one rule: Use the best materials you can find. For felt work this means100% wool felt or wool blends -- which insures heirloom quality with superior colors and softness -- and no glues. Each piece is one of a kind.
