Felt Fortune Cookies
Welcome the Lunar New Year with a cute wool felt fortune cookie. Participants will decorate and sew two cookies, which can be decorated with a printed “fortune”, or write your own fortune message!
Ages 14 and up. No experience required.
We will be using simple hand sewing techniques, including preparing and using your needles, back stitching and whip stitching.

| Instructor Bio: | West Roxbury crafter Megan Secatore captures nature’s designs in original decorations crafted in felt. Favorite motifs include roses, nasturtiums, lilies, cherry blossoms and poppies, adorning pincushions and ornaments. In all her craft projects, she adheres to one rule: Use the best materials you can find. For felt work this means100% wool felt or wool blends -- which insures heirloom quality with superior colors and softness -- and no glues. Each piece is one of a kind.
