Knitting

Have you been wanting to learn how to knit or to refresh your skills after a long hibernation? It's time! No previous experience required. In this 4-week class, you'll learn to cast on, knit, purl, and bind off. By the end of the course, you will have made a garter stitch cowl and possibly more! We offer both a morning and an evening class to allow for different schedules.

Do you already know how to knit and purl but want to fine-tune your skills? Are you tired of garter stitch rectangles and feeling ready for something a little more challenging? Want to learn to confidently read your stitches? Then this is the class for you! Bring your current project, or we'll help you find one you like that's appropriate for your skill level.

This guided sweater class will walk you through every step of creating a top-down raglan sweater while giving you the freedom to make it your own. We'll be using the Flax Sweater pattern by Tin Can Knits, which can be made in sizes 0 months - 6XL and offers many customizable design choices including yarn weight, body length, and sleeve length, so your finished sweater is uniquely yours.

Cables don’t have to be intimidating! Learn the basics of cable knitting while making a cozy hat. We’ll cover reading cable charts, using a cable needle, and building confidence with this classic technique. Perfect for knitters ready to level up!
