Ready to take your crochet skills past simple squares? This class is designed for crocheters who know the fundamentals and are ready to build on them. Bring your current project, or we can create a practical and stylish market bag while exploring techniques that expand your stitch vocabulary, help you learn to read your stitches, improve consistency, and help you feel more confident tackling real-world projects.

In this 3-week workshop series, we will introduce you to crocheting by making classic granny squares. Why granny squares? Well, for starters they’re fun to make and a fashion icon of late. But more importantly, they’re a perfect beginner’s crochet project. No granny-level experience necessary. Or any previous crocheting experience for that matter.

New to crochet? Start here! In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn the essentials, from your first chain to your first stitches while creating a series of small squares that explore different basic stitches and techniques. By the end, you’ll have the skills (and confidence!) to keep stitching at home.

Do you already know how to knit and purl but want to fine-tune your skills? Are you tired of garter stitch rectangles and feeling ready for something a little more challenging? Want to learn to confidently read your stitches? Then this is the class for you! Bring your current project, or we'll help you find one you like that's appropriate for your skill level.

Have you been wanting to learn how to knit or to refresh your skills after a long hibernation? It's time! No previous experience required. In this 4-week class, you'll learn to cast on, knit, purl, and bind off. By the end of the course, you will have made a garter stitch cowl and possibly more! We offer both a morning and an evening class to allow for different schedules.

Cables don’t have to be intimidating! Learn the basics of cable knitting while making a cozy hat. We’ll cover reading cable charts, using a cable needle, and building confidence with this classic technique. Perfect for knitters ready to level up!

Colorwork doesn’t have to be complicated—or tangled. In this class, we’ll break down the basics of intarsia and show you how approachable it can be. You’ll learn how to work clean color changes, manage multiple yarns without chaos, and build confidence reading and following an intarsia pattern. By the end, you’ll have the skills to tackle bold colorwork projects with ease and a beautiful intarsia tote bag.

Lace doesn’t have to be intimidating—we promise. In this class, part of our “You Don’t Have to Be Scared Of…” series, we’ll break lace down into simple, approachable steps so you can knit with confidence. You’ll learn how to read lace charts, understand common stitches like yarn overs and decreases, and fix mistakes without panic.

Socks have a reputation for being intimidating, but they don’t have to be! Part of our “You Don’t Have to Be Scared Of…” series, designed to help knitters tackle techniques that feel tricky at first and turn them into approachable, confidence-building skills.

Cutting your knitting might sound a little wild, but it’s one of the most freeing skills you can learn. In this class, we’ll demystify steeking and explore the foundations of Fair Isle colorwork in a low-stakes, approachable way.

Grab a friend and learn the art of needle felting in a supportive and relaxing environment. In this beginner friendly workshop, you will learn skills and techniques specific to needle felting as well as how to make your own needle felted work of art.

Do you have any clothing with holes or stains that you’d like to mend? Join Mariko Sugimori of Mona & Zoe Mending for an introduction to visible mending where you’ll learn creative techniques—including felting and darning—to give your clothing a new life! No prior experience required.

Join local crafter Meg Secatore (Heirloom Felt Designs) for a fun make-and-take workshop and create your own felt applique ornament or greeting card. We will have on hand pre-cut wool felt pieces, matching and accent threads, embroidery needles, fiberfill stuffing and ribbons for hanging.
